Projections and calculators#
Projections, including FIRE dates, goal timelines, retirement balances and "what if" scenarios, are estimates. They:
- depend on assumptions about returns, inflation, income, spending and tax that you can see and change in the tool;
- assume those assumptions hold steady, which real life will not;
- show amounts in future dollars and, where an estimate is two or more years away, also in today's dollars (adjusted for inflation);
- are not intended to be relied on when making a decision about a financial product.
Tax estimates#
Tax figures are estimates based on the information you add and the tax rates we have applied for the relevant year. They are not tax advice and are not a substitute for your tax return or a registered tax agent. Tax rules and your circumstances may differ.
Information you add and third-party information#
Finsplore is only as accurate as the statements and figures you add. Market prices, exchange rates and other third-party data may be delayed or wrong.
